Are you a scientist at Washington University looking to share your passion for science with kids?  We’d love to have you join our team!

We are always looking for more scientist volunteers!  Graduate students, postdocs, technicians, and faculty in any neuroscience-related fields are welcome.  No prior outreach experience required, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

School program volunteers will undergo a background check and complete training in communicating science to young students.  You must be able to commit to weekly classroom visits during a six-week period, scheduled during school hours according to your availability.

Looking for a single-day commitment?  We also need volunteers to help with demonstrations and activities at our public events several times per year.  These fun occasions require only a few hours of your time and generally occur on weekends rather than during the school day.

Volunteer signup is currently open! Please fill out this form to attend our training session on 9/18/24 from 5:30-7PM or 9/19/24 from 4-5:30PM!

If you would like to stay up-to-date about volunteer opportunities, please complete the form below to join our listserv and we’ll send you further details.  Thanks for helping us to inspire the next generation!
